BOVET 1822 is proud to announce the opening of its first boutique in Australia, in partnership with S&S Group, a very well-established luxury house. The new boutique is located on Collins Street in the central business district of Melbourne, Victoria, and is part of The Block Arcade precinct, which was built between 1890 and 1893. The Block Arcade ranks among the most popular tourist attractions in Melbourne, as it is considered one of the finest shopping arcades of the Victorian era.
The boutique is nearly 50 square meters and will have a complete collection of BOVET timepieces, and it will present the House of BOVET in its unique environment, almost as if the collectors had made the trip to the BOVET Castle in Switzerland.

Wako is located at the heart of this area, at the intersection of Ginza 4 Chome.
The building with its familiar landmark clock tower was built in 1932 (Showa 7) and has watched over the development of this city. Initially, it started as a retail division of the Hattori Watch Shop, which was founded in 1881 (Meiji 14). After the building was requisitioned by the occupying forces, it began full-scale operations as “Wako” in 1952 (Showa 27).
Since then, it has strived to satisfy customers with their high quality service and selection of products.
In August 2019, BOVET opened its first flagship boutique in Japan in Ginza, Tokyo.
The Ginza boutique places a heavy emphasis on omotenashi (a small action of kindness that serves to improve a person’s experience with no strings attached) and showcasing the rich brand DNA of BOVET within Japan.
