As an independent, fully integrated manufacture with very limited production, BOVET is perfectly positioned for one‑to‑one collaboration. Because we do almost everything in‑house, we can manage the countless details that make our timepieces so unique and special through Les Ateliers BOVET. Among the artisanal techniques we perform are hand‑engraving, miniature painting, enamel painting, paillons, appliqués, wood marquetry, sugar dials, Super‑LumiNova applications, owner initials, special gem‑setting, and much more.
The first step is to identify the existing BOVET timepiece you would like to customize. Depending on the model, various elements can be adapted to your wishes. Some modifications will not be possible, and we will clearly explain what is and is not feasible, guiding you to the best result.
You then detail exactly what you would like to change – colors, hand‑engraving, materials, gem‑setting, unique finishings, and more.
BOVET produces a rendering based on your request. Several rounds of dialogue may follow to refine and finalize the design and special details.
Once the design is approved, it is locked, and production is scheduled. A deposit is typically due at this stage.
We follow your timepiece through the manufacturing process, providing photographs, videos, and, whenever possible, opportunities to visit the château and the manufacture during production. Collection of the timepiece at the château can also be arranged when circumstances permit.

In a joint effort between the House of BOVET and Rolls‑Royce, teams of designers, conceptors, craftsmen, and BOVET watchmakers created two unique timepieces and a system to mount them in the dashboard of the one‑of‑a‑kind Boat Tail automobile, using an adapted Amadeo system. The lady’s 18K white‑gold timepiece is fully hand‑engraved and filled with lacquer. The gentleman’s timepiece is polished 18K white gold. Both feature wood marquetry dials using the same wood as the Boat Tail, while the lady’s reverse dial is a miniature painting of a flower bouquet and the gentleman’s shows the owner’s sky chart on aventurine. A miniature sculpture of the Boat Tail appears on both timepieces, while the other side features the Spirit of Ecstasy.
