Each watch is produced in our own facilities in extremely small numbers and assembled in Switzerland by a single watchmaker, reflecting a level of artistry, chronometry, and rarity reserved for the very top of fine watchmaking.

Yes. Every BOVET timepiece is created and completed within our own manufacture and ateliers in Switzerland, where we make more than 95% of everything that goes into them. They are then delivered either through our official boutiques, authorized retail partners, or directly by the Maison. Each timepiece carries its unique movement and case numbers, together with official BOVET documentation confirming its authenticity and origin.

Each BOVET timepiece is delivered in its official presentation box, accompanied by the warranty certificate, user documentation, and any specific certificates related to complications or bespoke work. These elements form part of the watch’s provenance and are important for long-term enjoyment, service, and future valuation.

BOVET designs and manufactures its own hand-wound mechanical movements, with a focus on long power reserves, patented tourbillons, and complex indications such as world time and perpetual calendars. There are no quartz movements in the BOVET range; every caliber is a mechanical creation developed and finished in-house.

Many BOVET timepieces are produced in very limited numbers, and overall yearly production remains around a thousand pieces worldwide. Certain models are individually numbered, limited by movement, or created as unique pieces, particularly when they involve bespoke dials, engravings, or special orders.

BOVET works primarily with noble materials such as high-grade stainless steel, Grade 5 titanium, high-tech ceramic, 18K red and white gold, and platinum. Cases, movements, and decorative elements are complemented by hand-stitched alligator straps, high-quality rubber options, or finely finished metal bracelets, with sapphire crystals on both sides to showcase the movement and métiers d’art.

Payment options vary depending on the point of sale. BOVET boutiques and authorized retailers generally accept major credit cards and bank transfers for high-value transactions, and may offer additional arrangements for established clients. For specific conditions, your BOVET advisor or retail partner will provide personalized guidance.

For limited pieces or bespoke creations, a reservation or order procedure is often required. Your BOVET representative or authorized retailer can advise on availability, lead times, and any deposit needed to secure a particular reference or custom commission.

BOVET itself does not position the Maison as a financing provider. In some regions, authorized retail partners may offer local solutions for their clients; any such arrangements are handled directly by the retailer and are subject to their conditions and regulations.

International delivery is generally arranged through BOVET boutiques and authorized retailers, using trusted logistics partners and following appropriate customs procedures. Because of the value and rarity of each timepiece, shipments are handled individually and with full insurance.

Delivery times depend on the specific timepiece (existing stock versus special order), the level of personalization, and your location. For a watch available in stock, delivery is typically organized within several business days; bespoke projects and highly complicated pieces require additional time for creation and testing.

Yes. All shipments of BOVET timepieces are fully insured and require an adult signature upon delivery, ensuring that each watch is protected until it is safely in the hands of its new owner.

Every BOVET timepiece is delivered with an international warranty covering manufacturing defects for 5 years from the date of purchase. Details of coverage and duration are specified in the warranty certificate provided with the watch.

Return and exchange policies vary by boutique and authorized retailer and must respect the condition and integrity of the timepiece. As a rule, any consideration of return requires that the watch be unworn, in perfect condition, and accompanied by all original packaging and documentation; your point of purchase can advise on the applicable policy.

Yes. Servicing and restoration are carried out by BOVET’s own watchmakers or by certified service partners trained by the Maison. Regular maintenance helps preserve accuracy, water resistance, and the beauty of the movement and decoration over time.

We recommend avoiding strong shocks, magnetic fields, and extreme temperatures, as well as regular servicing approximately every five years. When not worn, the watch should be stored in its box or in a dedicated case, ideally away from humidity and direct sunlight. BOVET’s timepieces are often very complicated, so it is vital to follow the setting instructions exactly to avoid doing harm to the movement.

Water-resistance varies by model and is indicated on the documentation and, where appropriate, on the watch itself. Any exposure to water should respect the stated rating, and crowns or pushers should never be operated when the watch is wet.

Yes. Leather straps and metal bracelets can be adjusted for a precise fit, and BOVET offers a variety of straps and attachment options, especially for Amadéo® convertible cases. Adjustments should be carried out by a BOVET boutique, authorized retailer, or qualified watchmaker to avoid damaging the case, lugs, or screws.
